Terms of Service - Kintsu

By downloading, installing, or using Kintsu, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Kintsu is a no-contact and breakup-recovery app developed by One4Studio. It helps you track a no-contact streak, record a private “voice vow,” keep unsent letters in a sealed Vault, log moods and slips, and follow a day-by-day healing program, along with a home-screen widget and related tools.

Emotional Well-Being Disclaimer

Kintsu is a self-help and personal-growth product for general well-being. It is not a medical device and does not provide therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, or any form of medical or mental-health treatment.

  • Kintsu is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or care from a qualified therapist, counselor, or physician.
  • If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately — Kintsu is not an emergency service and cannot help in an emergency.
  • You are responsible for your own decisions and well-being while using the app.

Kintsu Pro Subscription

Some features require a Kintsu Pro subscription.

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and managed with RevenueCat.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
  • Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kintsu only for lawful, personal purposes, and not to:

  • Copy, redistribute, resell, or extract the app's content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass in-app purchases or access controls
  • Use the app in any way that could harm the service or other users

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, and its bundled content are owned by One4Studio or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app, and you may not use its content outside the app. Content you create in the app (such as letters, notes, and recordings) remains yours.

Third-Party Services

Kintsu relies on services from Apple (App Store, iCloud) and RevenueCat for subscription management. Your use of those features is also subject to those companies' terms.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular result such as recovery, closure, or improved well-being.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One4Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Kintsu.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
