Google Discover in One4Home

One4Home Discover Companion adds Google's feed to the page immediately left of Home. It is a tiny bridge with no app icon, account, ads or background data collection.

Why a separate download?

Google's Discover overlay uses a private Android interface that Play Store apps cannot access directly. The companion provides that local connection while the main One4Home app remains a normal Play-distributed launcher.

Install and enable

  1. 1Download the companion APK on your Android device.
  2. 2Open the downloaded file and allow installation from your browser if Android asks.
  3. 3In One4Home, open Studio → Home → Layout and enable Google Discover.
  4. 4Swipe right from your first Home page to open the feed.

Good to know

  • The Google app must be installed and enabled.
  • The companion is intentionally hidden from the app drawer. Find or remove it in Android Settings → Apps.
  • Feed content and personalisation are provided by Google under your Google app settings.
