Terms of Use - Pausa

By downloading, installing, or using Pausa (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms are between you and One4Studio (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

Not Medical Advice

Pausa is a tracking and journaling tool for perimenopause, menopause and hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any patterns, insights, summaries, or reports it produces are informational only and are based solely on the data you enter. They are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your symptoms, medications, and treatment decisions. Never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something in the App. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

License

One4Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pausa for your personal, non-commercial use on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

Your Content & Data

The information you log — symptoms, cycles, medications, HRT, lab results, notes and related entries — is stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud. You retain full ownership of your content. We do not access, collect, or sell it. How your data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Educational Content

Pausa may include general educational material about perimenopause, menopause and HRT, drawing on public clinical guidance. This content is general information, not personalized medical advice, and may not reflect your individual circumstances. It may be updated or corrected over time.

Subscriptions & Purchases (Pausa Pro)

  • Pausa Pro unlocks additional features such as pattern insights, body-signal charts, extended doctor reports, lab tracking, unlimited treatments and data export.
  • Pausa Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) and as a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s App Store account settings.
  • Payments, refunds and billing are handled by Apple under their policies; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
  • Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except as permitted by law
  • Attempt to bypass security or authentication measures
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or any related services

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pausa is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation, reminder, or report will be accurate or complete. You are responsible for verifying medication schedules and any information you rely on with your healthcare provider.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One4Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App — including, without limitation, any health decisions made in reliance on the App or on a missed or inaccurate reminder. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which One4Studio operates, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, and without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
