Home Screen Setup

A home screen setup (or "setup") is a curated combination of wallpaper, icon pack, widgets, and launcher settings that creates a cohesive visual theme on your Android or iOS device.

In the Android customization community, a "setup" refers to the complete look of someone's home screen. It's not just one element — it's the combination of a wallpaper, icon pack, widgets, launcher grid size, label visibility, and gesture configuration that together create a themed experience.

Good setups have visual coherence. The wallpaper colors complement the icon pack style, the widgets match the overall aesthetic, and the layout feels intentional. Common setup styles include dark minimal (black wallpaper + outline icons), pastel aesthetic (soft colors + light icons), and material dynamic (adaptive icons + color-matched everything).

Building a setup typically starts with choosing a wallpaper, then selecting an icon pack that matches, applying it through a launcher, and adding coordinating widgets. One4Studio's icon packs all ship with matching KWGT widgets to make this process easier.
