Launcher

A launcher (or home screen app) is the Android app responsible for displaying your home screen, app drawer, and widgets. Third-party launchers like Nova and Lawnchair unlock deep customization including icon pack support.

On Android, the "launcher" is the app that controls your home screen experience — the grid of icons, the app drawer, widgets, gestures, and transitions. Every Android phone ships with a default launcher (Pixel Launcher on Google phones, OneUI Home on Samsung, etc.), but you can replace it with any third-party launcher from the Play Store.

Third-party launchers are the key to Android home screen customization. They let you change icon packs, adjust grid sizes, customize gestures, hide app labels, and control nearly every visual aspect of your phone's interface. Popular options include Nova Launcher, Lawnchair, Niagara Launcher, Smart Launcher, and Action Launcher.

For applying One4Studio icon packs, you'll need a launcher that supports icon pack theming. Most third-party launchers do. The process is usually: open launcher settings, find the icon or theme section, and select your installed icon pack.

Tip: Samsung's default OneUI launcher doesn't directly support icon packs, but you can use Theme Park through Good Lock to apply them. Check the Samsung OneUI setup guide for detailed instructions.
