Widget

A widget is an interactive element on your Android or iOS home screen that displays live information — clock, weather, music controls, calendar events — without opening an app.

Widgets are mini-app views that live on your home screen and update in real time. A weather widget shows the current temperature, a calendar widget shows upcoming events, and a music widget lets you play/pause without switching apps. They make your home screen functional, not just a grid of icons.

Android has supported widgets since its earliest versions, with increasingly powerful widget APIs. iOS added home screen widgets starting with iOS 14. On Android, widgets can be resized, and third-party widget apps like KWGT allow fully custom designs.

For a polished home screen setup, matching widgets are essential. All One4Studio icon packs include KWGT widget presets that are designed to complement the icon style — same visual language, same color palette, same design philosophy. This lets you build a setup where everything looks intentionally designed together.

Tip: To add a widget on Android, long-press your home screen, tap "Widgets", and browse available options. For KWGT presets, add a blank KWGT widget first, then load the preset from inside the widget editor.
